For members
Can I get Meetloop on my phone?
Yes. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app, with notifications for session reminders, announcements and dues. Here’s how for iPhone and Android.
How do I cancel a membership?
Go to Payouts & billing (also linked from Settings) and choose Manage billing. You can cancel any group there. You won’t be charged again, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
A charge looks wrong. What should I do?
Check your receipts under Manage billing first. Memberships renew automatically every week or month until you cancel. If it still looks wrong, email us with the date and amount and we’ll look into it.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are up to each host, so contact them first with the Contact the host button on the group’s page. If you can’t sort it out together, email us.
How do I update my card?
Use Manage billing on Payouts & billing. Payments are handled by Stripe, so Meetloop never sees your full card number.
I can’t find a group someone told me about.
Private groups don’t appear in Explore and can only be joined with their link. Ask the host to send it to you.
For hosts
What does Meetloop cost?
Free groups cost nothing. For paid groups Meetloop keeps 5% of each payment, and Stripe’s processing fees come on top. There’s no monthly plan.
How do I get paid?
Connect Stripe from Payouts & billing. Stripe pays out to your bank account on its usual schedule, and you can check payouts in your Stripe dashboard from the same page.
Who can see my group?
Groups start private, so only people with the link can find them. Make one public in the group’s settings and it shows up in Explore for people nearby or, for online groups, everywhere.
How do I remove a member?
Open your group from Your groups and use Remove next to their name. If they were paying, their subscription is cancelled and they won’t be charged again.
For association boards
What does it cost for an association?
$1 per home per month, and your first 3 months are free. Stripe’s processing fees are paid by the association, so owners pay exactly the dues amount.
How do owners pay?
Owners who pay online can set up autopay by card or bank account, and are charged each time dues are due. They can change their payment method or stop autopay from the association page. Anything autopay doesn't cover, like a special assessment, can be paid once with Pay next to it on the association page.
How do I add a special assessment or a late fee?
In the Dues ledger, choose Add a charge to bill every home (or one home) a set amount on a due date. To charge a late fee, choose Set a late fee: it's added once to dues still unpaid 10 days after the due date.
An owner paid by check. How do I record it?
Open the Dues ledger on your association’s manage page and choose Record payment next to that home. Pick check, cash or other, and the home shows as paid.
How do I add homes and invite owners?
On the manage page use Add a home, or Paste a list straight from your spreadsheet. Then Email invites sends each owner a private link for their home.
Can I remind owners who haven’t paid?
Yes. Remind unpaid homes in the Dues ledger emails every home that still owes and has an email on file, and Export downloads the year’s payments for your records.
How do I schedule a board meeting?
On your association page use Schedule a meeting. Add the date, the place or a video call link, and the agenda. Owners see it on the page, and you can email every home with a link to add it to their calendar. Share the minutes afterwards in Documents.
