Terms of Service

Last updated October 6, 2026

These terms apply when you use Meetloop to host or join a group. By creating an account you agree to them.

What Meetloop does

Meetloop lets hosts create groups that meet on a schedule and lets members join them, for free or for a recurring fee. Hosts run their own groups. Meetloop provides the pages, sign-up and payments, and is not the organiser of any group or session.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to use Meetloop.
  • Keep your login details safe. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
  • Give accurate information, including in group descriptions and locations.

Hosting a group

  • You’re responsible for your group, its sessions and how you treat members, and for following local laws, venue rules and safety requirements.
  • To charge members you connect a Stripe account. Payouts are made by Stripe under the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
  • Meetloop keeps a 5% platform fee from each payment. Stripe’s own processing fees also apply.
  • For associations, Meetloop’s fee is instead $1 per home per month, taken from each dues payment (for example $3 per home on quarterly dues), with no fee for the first 3 months. Stripe’s processing fees also apply and are paid by the association.
  • You decide your refund policy and should state it in your group description. If you remove a paying member, their subscription is cancelled and they won’t be charged again.

Joining a group

  • Paid memberships renew automatically each week or month until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • Refunds are up to the host. Contact the host first; if you can’t resolve it, contact us.
  • Attending sessions is at your own risk. Meetloop doesn’t vet hosts, members or venues.

Things you can’t do

  • Post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, misleading or that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • Use Meetloop for scams, spam, or to collect other people’s data.
  • Try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.

We may remove content, pause groups or close accounts that break these terms.

Your content

You own what you post. You give Meetloop permission to show it on the service so your group can be found and joined.

Liability

Meetloop is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses or for anything that happens at a group or session, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees Meetloop received from you in the last 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we’ll let you know before it takes effect. Using Meetloop after that means you accept the new terms.
